How do you open the toy lightsaber to put batteries in it? Cannot find the opening?

Every Star Wars lightsaber has different methods of opening it to insert the batteries. I have 7 different ones and out of the 7 5 open differently. Plus there are several more new ones just released.
Depending on which one you have you may have to unscrew the top base where the blade starts, or remove the 2 screws in the hilt, or remove 1 ***** in the hilt base, or remove 2 screws on the right side of the hilt.
Now the new Clone wars series are like the 1998 models and you have to unscrew the top base. You can usually see where there is a section that looks like it could be removed easily and is held in place with a *****. Some have 2 now but the ones from last year and further down the road have just one. Usually on the bottom of the saber holding the blade section vertically.
