I think the part is cheap on the obi-wan ROTS too.
You can skin down the part that looks like a toy.I did with my obi-wan ROTS.
this is the best saber
in the movie this lightsaber was originaly blue, they had to go and make it green bcuz of how it blends in with the sky at the sand dunes. Go search original ROTJ trailer and this lightsaber is blue not green.
the person who was mad about the lightsaber blue. He loses it in episode 5 when Vader cut off his hand. There was no way he was going to get it back. He gets a green one in between the 5th and 6th. he made it with pparts in his uncles house. The one who died. And yes, I am a nerd.
no actually it was made at his uncles house with parts he found at obiwans old hut on tatooine not parts he found at his uncles house.

if lucas didnt catch his mistake and rename the movie return of the jedi you would be correct sir in calling it revenge of the jedi, have you seen the posters that say revenge of the jedi, if you havent there pretty sweet
could you do obiwan episode 1?
why do they make the copper tube part near the top of the hilt so thick? On the real Lightsaber (and Obi-Wans second saber) it is a thin tube and very different. I don’t understand why the Force FX sabers are like that. On the Hilt replicas MR does its just like the real one.
@Deansterdpc Simple. The blade goes several inches into the hilt itself, and the blade is too thick to support the thin neck design.
Excellent review, pretty much hit the main parts of the reasons I haven’t gotten this saber in the FX version, it isn’t all that accurate especially in the aforementioned “neck” of the saber. Honestly, if you want a good ROTJ “FX” lightsaber, I’d probably suggest the Arc Wave from Parks Sabers. It has the thin neck design, and if the shots are any indication, a blade that’s just as bright, and I believe far more sturdy than MR/Hasbro.
@Anduril74871 Thanks dude. Yes I am fully aware of the arc wave/nova designs (and how damned expensive they are) and they are truly the best replicas you can buy.
