Now that’s naive thinking. Those three were more… intimidating, if we’re going to use such a description, exactly because of their human traits.

Maul was more of a mindless monster. Sure, plenty of brute force but only that.

What? Being human makes you intimidating? What would scare you more? Looking at a mob boss or some demonic creature from the pits of a fiery abyss?

  • Bobopoa

How does a mob boss compare to Palpatine? Or Vader? Or even Dooku?

They don’t, so I’ll give you a more related example.

I would be more scared of a demonic creature from the pits of fiery abyss using their power with reason and caution than of a demonic creature from the pits of fiery abyss madly rushing out at things.

Your point was that the humanity of dooku etc. made them more intimidating. A mob boss is human, a demon would not be.

Which would you be more intimidated by?

  • Bobopoa

Is a mob boss to Palpatine the same as a demonic creature from the pits of a fiery abyss to Maul? Hes not. Similarity is required for an analogy to work.

Perhaps I have not been clear enough on the parts of humanity that scare could me so: its their ability to scheme, conspire and execute whatever sick plans their imagination might come up with.

Obvious threat is scary only on that basic, direct level. On the other hand, not knowing what to expect, how or even what to defend against could easily be more terrifying.

Why? For example because a known threat is only this scary even if it means plenty scary. An unknown threat could be as scary as it wants, or rather, as scary as I imagine it no limits here.

Im 900 years old, walk with a cane, 2 feet tall, and ill kick your ass six ways to sunday hehe

You know, Yoda should have driven a little faster and then he’d have gotten there two minutes earlier and they’d have defeated Dooku together.

And they really need to make some Star Wars MMOG like World of Warcraft but with better fighting.

@revangal3 I think he seems disappointed for such a short and bad fight.

Anakin was such a dumbass sometimes. Patience.

I remember what a fucking holler we all made during the Yoda vs. Dooku fight. Yoda igniting his lightsaber was probably the most awesome moment in all of the prequel trilogy.

  • educassiano

Anakin was such a jerk as a teenager, god damn it.

  • 328246197

Is that even a question? A mob boss would be killed by a sith even before he’d have the chance to raise his gun.

1:18. The look on Dooku’s face is priceless; total giveaway he’s suckering Kenobi in, and I’m surprised Kenobi didn’t pick up on it. Not exactly asoubtple counter setup if you’re being overpowered and smiling about it.

i swear they made the obi wan and anakin fight vs dooku shit just to make yoda seem proper extreme lol cus i thought this was the worst fight out of the prequals till yoda came

Attack of the Clones: a film in which the climactic moment is an 80-year-old fighting a Muppet. Only George Lucas could conceive of such a thing and get away with it.

  • hobonator123

well he drove slow cuz hes old

  • DerekPontillo

I agree with everything you said. That was lame when Anakin is just standing still as if waiting for Dooku to strike him down XD

  • DerekPontillo

lol yeah that’s why he joins the dark side for no good reason other than the improbable, inexplicable prospect of saving Padme

  • fortunanike

You’d turn to the dark side just to get a name change if you have a name based on a character from musical theatre. Death father would always be preferable to Annie.

Did they ever explain with all the siths have red lightsabers? Do they have to turn their old blue/green one in when they change sides and then get a red one?

  • Obltzs

@TheSameGuyFromYuTube Jedi lightsabers tend to be green and blue because those are the colours of the focusing crystals they use. These crystals are found in certain caves that the Jedi control. Obviously the Sith don’t have access to these caves, so they make their own synthetic crystals, which tend to be red in colour.
