The emitter was machined to have that extension. I know because I have the Hero version of JSS’ Luke ROTJ Luxeon conversion.

Hey, if your hilts are MasterReplicas how DID you manage to get the blade off? You wouldn’t happen to work for MasterReplicas would you?Or know someone who can successfully take off the blade of a MR hilt?

The Luke ROTJ is discontinued. Check Ultra Sabers if you want one. They range to about $200 with S&H.
It’s a removable blade.
It’s a customized saber. Stock MR FX sabers don’t have removable blades.
Kit, what did you use to black out the neck and switch. I have a Luke ROTJ coming and think the neck is too orangy, not a metallic copper like it should be. I don’t know why MR made it that way. I am thinking of touching it up with gold paint.
There is a website called ultra sabers that specialize in doing luxeon conversions, and for a price, you can have a master replicas lightsaber, converted to a luxeon, removable blade lightsaber. Oh, and they can be used for duelling as well.
how do you duel witht his thing?? wouldn’t it just shatter…
The blade is made of a thicker polycarbonite than the MR fx sabers, and since the hilt is basically a fancy looking torch, the blade with light going through it will make it brighter, but in sacrificing the realistic power up/down display common in the 64 LED blades of the MR fx sabers.
Dam i want a lukes one the handle look great and love the blade.

are they made in alternate styles and colors? like orange or white? and maybe something from the kotor series? that would be pretty cool.
usually they have them at toy stores and electronic stores and they’re around $100. if they are the same ones that i’ve seen, these may be higher quality but the ones i’ve seen say force fx. i want the darth vader.

Force FX don’t have removable blades. Try parksabers (dot) com.
yeah but you can get them modified by ultrasabers with luxeon tubes and they will retian their sound you can even get your color changed.
Is Ultrasaber dot com a safe place to buy a luxeon saber? i mean they dont just ripp u off and take ur money?
actually whisper MR is not making anymore beacause lucas doesnt want to extend the contrat

Actually, it’s because MR didn’t want to pay the licensing fee that Lucas was asking. Hasbro will now be making them.
