How to make a prop lightsaber
Hello fellow Youtubers! This here is my first actual video that involves me in it. This video will teach you how to make a lightsaber with around thirty dollars to spend. If there are any questions on anything that I may have missed during the recording, feel free to ask. I may sound as though I rushed during some spots, so I’ll explain here. As you can tell, we decided to record this video outside in order to break the mold. It was a sunny/rainy day, but the issue we faced was this sunny patch was going to be the last one of the day, so we were short on time. It did drizzle for a bit during the video as I point out. Also, the person that is sniffling during the video is the cameraman, he was sick with something. One thing I forgot to say was that the steel coupler was 3/4 inch diameter. Like I said, I had to rush some stuff. If anyone has any info on where to find special effects for movies like this, please let me know. We need some new things! Cast: Lightsaber assembler: Alex K. Cameraman/Editor: Chris O. Sith: Jeremy O. Editing Software: LSMaker.

Hey man GREAT video!! No if i can only get my dad to buy me this stuff
. BTW what is the exact names of the unnamed garden hose thing u used at the end of the hilt? The one you like instead of the cap.
awesome, now just to find the parts
Nice work.
Can you sent me a parts list of what you used.
awesome. what effects did you use? ive noticed other videos use one but the blade is very shaky which makes the video look bad.
It was just the free program LSMaker. We were able to keep the blade steady because we put the prop blade inside so we could track it. And the guy who did had a lot of spare time to make it look pretty.
i hate it it by you
Sweet. Looks like a Mace Windu V2 saber.
cool.I used pvc pipe.
thats a really cool saber.
I followed your instructions basically but made my own little style. I have the handle done and everything, but it just doesn’t look right without somesort of activation mechanism. Like a big red button or a slide switch. What should I use for that?
lol as u can see that sith basterd over there, classic
@DarwinwasWrong hey can u tell me wat materials u used please and thank you
your blade glow is too big
Was Darth Vader the camera man? There’s some heavy breathing from the camera man.
that is great!
the guy with the camera sounds like Darth Vader lol
you don’t have to use only o-rings. You can also use sump pump tubes for much cheaper than the o-rings.
@YHVlogs That is very true. Only problem is that it is very difficult to find tubing that fits snug on something that narrow.
@DarwinwasWrong
Well, i’m sure if you can hunt around for some and ask around the hardware store staff then i am very sure you’ll find it. Plus if you buy the wrong one, you can always just return for a new one.
